KING OF GLORY PRESCHOOL:  PLAY

children playing Play is a necessary part of learning in the daily life of King of Glory Preschool.  It is our belief that play guides children to learn in their own way, one which comes most natural to them - by doing!  We are well equipped to play... a large outdoor playground and trike pad area compliments of our large classroom and Fellowship Hall.

Research has shown that young children learn most easily through play.  It is highly creative, highly individualized and requires active involvement.  Also, manipulation of concrete objects by children at play nurtures reading ability.  Our curriculum includes a variety of activities that allow for active participation and individual creativity.  These experiences encourage young children to move from solitary to parallel to small-group play while the small group play of the four and five year-olds moves to cooperative play and interaction in large group activities.
