KING OF GLORY PRESCHOOL:  PROGRAM OFFERINGS FOR 2008-2009

TERRIFIC TWO'S

This program is for both the parent and the child!  It meets on Friday mornings from 10:00 am to 12 noon.  Children choose different activities throughout their day and are never asked to sit still for more than 10 minutes at a time.  Children and parents are encouraged to communicate, experiment, create and explore throughout each class session. 

THREE'S

We offer five half-day programs for three year-olds.  There are 3 two-day per week programs that meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays; two sessions meets in the morning from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm and another session in the afternoon from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.  In addition, we offer 2 three-day per week programs that meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; one session meets from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm and another session in the afternoon from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.  Children in the Three's program must be out of diapers; they also must turn three by October 31, 2008. 

FOUR'S

We offer six half-day programs for four year-olds.  There is 1 two-day per week program that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm.  There are 3 three-day per week programs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; two sessions in the morning from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm and another session in the afternoon from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.  In addition, we also offer 2 four-day per week programs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; one session meets in the morning from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm and another in the afternoon from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm.  Children enrolled in the Four's program must be four by October 31, 2008. 

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

This intentional pre-kindergarten program is designed for the child that is not developmentally ready to attend Kindergarten.  It gives young five year-olds a gift of a year to grow.  This is a five-day per week program that meets Monday through Friday from 9:15 am - 1:00 pm each day.  Children entering the Pre-Kindergarten program must by five by December 31, 2008.  

KINDERGARTEN

King of Glory’s Kindergarten program is designed to exceed the Virginia SOL’s by immersing the child in a rich educational environment that facilitates learning in all academic areas including reading, writing, mathematics, science, social sciences and the arts. This full day program begins daily at 9:15 am and offers optional dismissals at 2 pm or 3:30 pm.
