The Installation of
The Rev. William A. Harmon
The Rev. William Harmon has recently accepted a call to serve as Pastor at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Pastor Harmon was ordained at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. In his eleven years of service in the church, he has twice served as Associate Pastor, and most recently served as Senior Pastor at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Garden City, New York. During his tenure in Garden City, Pastor Harmon also held a number of other leadership positions in the community including Chairman of the Garden City Clergy Fellowship, and member of the Board of Directors of Lutheran Social Services of New York. Pastor Harmon, wife Gayle and their three children will reside in Williamsburg.
Pastor Bill Harmon was installed as Pastor of King of Glory Lutheran Church on Sunday, July 13, 2008.

Volunteer Opportunities
Email Kimberly Kay now to get your volunteer spot. We have set 4-hour shift time slots with some 2 hour slots available. (Note: You must do 2 2-hour slots to equal 4 hours to shop early.) Once they are gone, they are gone. First come, first served. Volunteers shop before the consignors on Thursday, October 2, starting at 8 PM and again with the consignors on Friday, October 3 from 9 AM to noon. Provide the time of day and Th, Fr, or Sat in your email. We will do our best to give you a time slot close to what you have requested. We may have additional opportunities during the day at Avalon prior to the sale in late August or early September.
Consignors
REMEMBER, the deadline to sign up is September 19 or until the maximum number of consignors is reached, whichever comes first.
Whether you are a new consignor or have consigned with us in the past, you must email Kimberly Kay that you want to consign in the October 2008 sale. Please provide your name, previous consignor number, mailing address, phone number and email address.
