Rev. William A. Harmon: Pastor
Rev. Bill Harmon attended Concordia College, Bronxville New York where he completed the Pre-Seminary program and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Judeo-Christian Heritage. Following his graduation from college, Pastor Harmon went on to Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO to begin his four years of training for the Holy Ministry. His third year was spent serving at Hope Lutheran Church in Warren, Michigan where he fulfilled his Vicarage (a one year field internship). One year later, Pastor Harmon graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree. He was ordained into the ministry on June 14, 1998.

Pastor Harmon previously served as Associate Pastor in Flat Rock, Michigan. Pastor then accepted the call to serve as Associate Pastor of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Garden City, New York. His duties as Associate Pastor included family ministry, youth, and children’s ministry. In 2002, Pastor Harmon was called to serve as the Lead Pastor at Resurrection.

In 2003 Pastor was elected Circuit Counselor of the Nassau Circuit of the Atlantic District and served in that position until 2008. Also in 2003 he was elected to the Board of Directors of Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School and served as an adjunct religion teacher at the school. Pastor Harmon has held a number of other leadership positions in the community. In 2001, he served as Chair of the Garden City Clergy Fellowship, a group of local religious leaders. In 2005 he partnered with other leaders of the community in the founding the Garden City Community Council on Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention, where he served as a Director and Executive Board Member. In 2006 Pastor Harmon was elected to the Board of Directors of Lutheran Social Services of New York. 

In 2008 Pastor Harmon accepted the call to serve the Lord at King of Glory, Williamsburg, Virginia.

Pastor Harmon is blessed to be married to his wonderful wife and honored to be the father of their three children. 

Larry McReynolds:  Director of Music and Outreach Ministries
Larry McReynolds has served as Director of Music and Outreach at King of Glory since July, 2002.  Born in Queens, NY, he is an alumnus of Concordia College, Bronxville, NY where he studied Church Music and Music Education.  He studied organ with Nathan Eickmann, James Brauer and Robert Owen and choral conducting with Gerald Coleman and Ralph Schultz.  He has served in a variety of capacities in full-time parish ministry since 1980 including music, youth and Christian Education ministries in New York City at Resurrection Lutheran Church (Flushing) and Grace Lutheran Church and School (Queens Village), Executive Director of SonRise Lutheran Ministries in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York as well as founding pastoral administrator of SonRise Lutheran Church in Pottersville, NY.  He has served the wider church as a workshop leader in fields of music, worship and youth ministry as well as vice-president of the National Lutheran Outdoors Ministry Association.  Larry has been called upon to serve in the Atlantic and Southeastern Districts as a retreat leader, conference and convention musician. He is blessed to share life’s journey in serving the Lord with gladness with his wife, Ruth, and their four children: Matthew, James, Sarah and Peter.

Ruth McReynolds:
  King of Glory Preschool Director
Ruth McReynolds has served as Director of King of Glory Preschool since July, 2002.  Ruth was born and raised in rural Verona, New York and attended Concordia College, Bronxville where she graduated with a degree in Education and was certified as a Teacher in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  She has served as a teacher in a variety of grade levels at two schools in Queens, NY: St. John’s Lutheran School, College Point and The Chapel of The Redeemer, Flushing.  Prior to coming to King of Glory, Ruth served as Program Director at SonRise Lutheran Ministries where she developed summer camp, retreat and Elderhostel programs.  She has been active in the field of Christian Education and has led numerous workshops and retreats on the District level as well as with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.  Ruth has always been involved as an active volunteer in Girl Scouts and local Emergency Squads, where she also is called upon as a teacher and trainer.  Ruth is married to her husband, Larry and together they share their life with their children: Matthew, James, Sarah and Peter.

Julia Malenke:  Director of Christian Education
Julia Malenke was born and raised in southern California where she was active in the youth and folk music groups at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska with a degree in Education and became certified as a Teacher in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. She has served as a third grade teacher, cherub choir director and youth leader at Epiphany Lutheran Church and School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and as a fourth grade teacher and children’s choir director at Faith Lutheran Church and School in Marietta, Georgia. She earned her Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout where she also taught courses in peer counseling and group dynamics as a graduate assistant. She came to King of Glory Lutheran Church and Preschool from Auburn, Alabama where she served as Director of Children’s and Family Ministries/Director of Christian Education at Trinity Lutheran Church. Julia has also been privileged to serve on the North Wisconsin District’s Youth Committee and as staff at their Youth Music Camps, on the Southern District’s planning committee for the 2003 “One-derful Water” Family Gathering, as a crisis pregnancy counselor at Women’s Hope Medical Clinic in Auburn, Alabama, and as staff on “Strength for the Journey” women’s retreats in Alabama and Virginia. She is blessed to be married to her husband, Daniel, and to be the mother of their two daughters, Erin and Lauren.

Elisa Ferguson:  Office Manager
Elisa Ferguson has served the Office Manager of King of Glory since February of 2005.  Elisa was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Holland, Michigan.  While attending the University of Notre Dame, she met her future husband, Cary, and they married in August of 1991.  Cary is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, stationed at Fort Lee, Virginia.  Elisa earned her B.S. in Geology from Notre Dame, and her M.S. in Marine Geochemistry from Duke University.  She and Cary are blessed with three children, Anna, John and Elisabeth.

Debbie Peters:  Parish Secretary
Debbie Peters has served as Secretary of King of Glory since March 2005. Debbie was born and raised in Cherry Tree, Pennsylvania. Debbie attended Cambria-Rowe Business College and received an Associates Degree in Medical Secretary and Terminology. Debbie and her husband Andrew were married in April 1989. As an Army wife for the past 19 years, Debbie has worked as a medical secretary in Texas and Alabama, and while living in Germany for three years, Debbie served as an administrative assistant for the United States Government, for the Director of Youth and Family Services. She and her husband moved to Williamsburg in 2004, from Fort Polk, Louisiana. They have three beautiful daughters, Danielle, Rebecca and Haley.

George F Lobien:  Associate in Ministry
Pastor Lobien graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO in May, 1960.  He remained at the seminary to earn a Master of Sacred Theology (STM) degree and to complete the residency requirements for his Doctor's degree (Th. D.).  His first congregation was Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, MO followed by pastorates at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Madison Wisconsin (1964-70) and The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew in Silver Spring MD (1970-1996).  After retiring from St. Andrew, he and his wife, Jane moved to Williamsburg, VA where he served two interims at Hope Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach, VA and where he has now become Interim Pastor of King of Glory Lutheran Church.  Dr. Lobien is also a Regional Consultant of Capital Funding Services, a ministry of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund, where he has served with distinction.  He is a past president of The Writing Academy, a group of Christian writers and has served the Southeastern District in ministries relating to leadership and adult education.  Son Paul and his family are still members of St. Andrew in Silver Spring, MD and daughter Diana resides near Easton, MD.

Warren Winterhoff:  Associate in Ministry
Pastor Winterhoff graduated from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania and then received his Masters from Concordia Seminary in Springfield, Ill. He was called to serve Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, a mission congregation in Warwick, NY. After 8 years of ministry there he accepted a call to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Delmar, NY where he served for 27 years. He was involved in many community organizations as well as being a member of the Mission Board of the Atlantic District. He was also elected as a Vice-President of the Atlantic District - an office he held for 9 years. After retiring from Bethlehem in 2004, he and his wife Linda moved to Williamsburg. He has served as an interim pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran in Hampton. Pastor and Linda have 4 married sons and as of this writing 5 grandchildren.

Dolores Zoller:  King of Glory Preschool Office Assistant
Dolores was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin and moved to upstate New York (West Winfield) at the age of eight.  She married Doug Zoller in West Winfield.  They have been blessed with three great children, Greg, Vicki and Ted, nine wonderful grandchildren and 3 perfect great grandchildren.  Dolores and Doug lived in several places in upstate NY until moving to Williamsburg eleven years ago.  Before having children, Dolores worked as a Personnel Assistant for two large manufacturing companies.  She served several organizations as a volunteer while her children were young, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy-Happiness House in Geneva, NY; Treasurer for the New York State Woodsmen's Field Days; Director of the Dodge-Pratt-Mortham Art & Community Center in Boonville, NY.  Dolores also taught Sunday School and was a den mother for Cub Scouts (twice!).  After Doug retired as Superintedant of Schools in Seneca Falls Central School, Dolores owned and operated a Yarn & Gift Shop (Artisan's Gallery) in Seneca Falls, NY and worked part time for Community Bank in Seneca Falls for ten years.  Dolores has been involved with the King of Glory Preschool since its beginning, and has served as the Preschool Office Assistant for four years.
